The Google Ruse

Google is pulling a fast one on you. And me. And all of us.

Customers who are looking for US are being sent to our competitors.

And I can prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.

You know how you can Google search: 'business near me'?

So 'activities near me'. Or 'pub near me'. Or even 'kyak hire near me'.

Once upon a time, I assumed Google actually recommended the closest business to me...

But... it doesn't.

Not even close.

I could be standing NEXT to your business, Google 'near me' annnnnnnnnddddd it's going to recommend a competitor!

Even one 10 miles away!

I know. It's nuts.
